Regional Skilled Visas

Apply for Australian Regional Skilled Visas

Regional visas are designed to address skill shortages in Regional Australia, which includes certain rural and designated areas of Australian States and Territories.

187 Visa – Regional Sponsorship Migration Scheme (Permanent Visa)

This permanent visa is for skilled workers who wish to work in regional Australia. Applicants can apply under one of two streams

01

Temporary Residence Transition Stream

For holders of subclass 457/482 TSS visas who have worked for two or three years (depending on specific circumstances) in the same nominated occupation and with the same employer. The employer must support the nomination for Permanent Residency.

02

Direct Entry Stream

For individuals who have been nominated by their employer and have never, or only briefly, worked in Australia, or for temporary residents who do not qualify for the Temporary Residence Transition stream.

Before an employer can nominate a worker, they must obtain a recommendation from a relevant Regional Certifying Body (local government).

Our employer-sponsored consultants are available to assess your eligibility and provide top-notch service and guidance throughout the application process.
